We collect information that you provide directly to us when using MakeInvoice. This includes your account details (Name, Email from Google Sign-In) and invoicing data (Company details, Client details, line items, and bank information) when you actively choose to save an invoice or update your company profile to our database.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Specifically, your data is used to render PDFs, send emails to your clients directly at your request, and retain historical invoices for your dashboard so you can access them later.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your saved invoices and company profiles are stored securely in our PostgreSQL database. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access or alteration. Passwords are never stored as we utilize OAuth (Google Sign-In) for authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize third-party services to operate MakeInvoice:

  • Resend: Used to dispatch invoice emails formatting your data as a PDF attachment.
  • Cloudflare R2: Used to temporarily proxy securely stored company logos to bypass CORS rendering blocks.
